Sarah Kaufman is heading back to Invicta FC.
The veteran bantamweight has signed a new deal with the all-female MMA promotion, Invicta officials confirmed with MMA Fighting.
Kaufman is currently scheduled to headline Invicta FC 27 on Jan. 13 at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The promotion has yet to finalize her opponent.
Kaufman (18-4, 1 no contest) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jessy Rose-Clark in March in Battlefield FC: Korea. Prior to that, Kaufman lost two in a row in what ended up being her final two fights in UFC. Her contract expired and the two sides did not come to terms on a new deal.
The Canadian-born Kaufman is considered one of the best female MMA fighters of all time. She owns wins over Alexis Davis (twice), Valerie Letourneau, Miesha Tate, Shayna Baszler, Roxanne Modafferi, and Liz Carmouche.
Kaufman won her lone Invicta fight against Leslie Smith via split decision in 2013.
