The headliner will see Bellator women’s featherweight champion Julia Budd put her belt on the line for the second time when she meets Talita Nogueira. The co-main comes in the bantamweight division, with former champ Eduardo Dantas taking on former UFC title challenger Michael McDonald.

Chris Honeycutt vs. Leo Leite

Round 1 – They brawl a bit right away. Honeycutt with a body kick. Leite with a right over the top in an exchange. Honeycutt with a nice uppercut. Leite presses Honeycutt against the cage and trips him to the mat. He’s back up, but Leite is human backpacking him. Honeycutt lands some elbows to the thigh and Leite actually gave up on it. He kept a body kock though, and got another brief trip takedown. They battle in the clinch. They finally separate with under a minute to go, and head straiht into a brawl. Just leaning forward and chucking overhands. Honeycutt looking for a takedown. He can’t get it. Winging right from Leite. 10-9 Leite.

Round 2 – Honeycutt ducks some punches and tries to clinch. It doesn’t work. Body shot from leite. Right from Honeycutt. Two big knees from Honeycutt. Leite looks for a trip but it didn’t work. Honeycutt with a nice takedown and he works from top position. He traps and arm and bloodies Leite up with elbows. The pace slows, but Honeycutt is in a dominant position. Leite gets half guard back. Leite gets up with a minute to go but he’s beaten up. Back in the clinch. Big knees from Honeycutt. 10-8 Honeycutt.

Round 3

Valentin Moldavsky vs. Ernest James

Round 1 – James with a leg kick. Slow start. Moldavsky lands with a right but James reponds. They clinch up against the cage. Moldavsky looks for a takedown but can’t get it. James continues to fight it off but Moldavsky just keeps going for it. They grind in the clinch and the ref asks for action, so they break. They trade low kicks. Moldavsky with a hard right. James with a counter but Moldavsky cracks him right back. Hard straight right from Moldavsky and he finishes well. 10-9 Moldavsky.

Round 2 – Inside leg kick from James. Slow start. Moldavsky with a reaching right. They clinch. Moldavsky lands inside. James’ eye is rapidly shutting, and he’s bleeding. James ducks for a takedown, but it wasn’t set up very well. Moldavsky put him against the fence. They continue there for a while before they reset. They’re both throwing wild single shots. Moldavsky tags James, and then hurts him with the next shot. He beats James down and it’s over.
